IGL appoints Ajai Tyagi as HOD (Business Development & Corporate Strategy)

New Delhi: Ajai Tyagi has been designated as Head of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) with effect from June 1. With his appointment, Tyagi has replaced Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia, who has superannuated from the company on Monday.

Prior to this, Tyagi was serving as Executive Director (Project Expediting) at the company. He holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and brings nearly 36 years of professional experience.

Tyagi has around 23 years of experience in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) sector, primarily in the areas of operations and projects, following his association with IGL in 2003.

According to the company, with his extensive experience in project execution, operations and the CGD business, Tyagi is expected to play a key role in driving IGL’s business development initiatives and corporate strategy going forward.
