New Delhi: PTC India Limited owned PTC India Financial Services Limited has announced the appointment of four Independent Directors on its Board. According to an official statement released by the company, Sushama Nath, Devendra Swaroop Saksena, Ramesh Narain Misra and Jayant Purushottam Gokhale have been appointed as the Independent Directors on the Board of the company with immediate effect.
Here are brief profiles of all the newly Directors is as under:-
Sushama Nath (IAS)
Sushama Nath is a 1974-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. She is former Secretary Ministry of Finance. She is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Limited with effect from December 20, 2017.
Devendra Swaroop Saksena
Devendra Swaroop Saksena is a retired Indian Revenue Service (IRS) of 1979-batch. He is ex- Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Department, Mumbai. He is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd. with effect from July 30, 2018.
Ramesh Narain Misra
Ramesh Narain Misra is an Engineer from MNRE Allahabad and Master's in Finance from IGNOU. He has served green energy PSU SJVN Limited. He superannuated from post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) SJVN after a career of 38 years. He started his career from NHPC and became Director (Civil) before moving out to become CMD SJVN. He has been serving an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd with effect from December 7, 2018.
Jayant Gokhale, is a well-known Chartered Accountant is a partner in Gokhale & Sathe Chartered Accountants and has a lot of experience in the field of Audit and Accounts / Finance. He is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd with effect from March 16, 2017.
None of the above have any relationship with any of the Directors of the company and are not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.
