New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for extension in the central deputation tenure of Ramachandra Mishra (IOFS) as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat for a period of two years. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the services of Mishra as Director in Cabinet Secretariat for a period of two years beyond December 14, 2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. "He counts his central deputation tenure under the central staffing scheme with effect from December 15, 2015," the order further read. Mishra is an Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of the 1991-batch. He is serving as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat.
