SK Mishra appointed as Director (Consumer Mobility) BSNL

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sushil Kumar Mishra as Director (Consumer Mobility) of BSNL on March 2. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mishra has been appointed as Director on BSNL board with "effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post till March 31, 2022, i.e. the date of his superannuation, or until the further orders, whichever is earlier." Mishra is currently serving as Principal General Manager (Karnataka Circle) in the same organisation. Mishra is an Indian Telecom Services (ITS) officer of 1984 batch. He had assumed charge as Principal General Manager (Karnataka Circle) on December 31, 2018.

PSU Watch had reported the news when Mishra was recommended for the post of Director (Consumer Mobility) of BSNL Limited by a PESB panel. He was selected from the list of six candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel.
