New Delhi: State-owned oil major Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) has announced that it is looking to recruit people at the position of HR Executive and Public Relations Officer (PRO) through UGC's research fellowship and Assistant Professor eligibility test, NET. This means that the PSU will select candidates for the said positions on the basis of their NET score, the exam for which will be held in June. The exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency and online registrations will close on March 30. Candidates will have to qualify the UGC-NET exam of June 2019. Scores from any previous UGC NET examinations will not be valid for these vacancies, ONGC said in a job notice released on its website.

What are the fields that will be considered?

NET scores of Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour and Social Welfare/Human Resource Management Or Management will be considered by ONGC for the HR Executive position. For the PRO post, the scores of Mass Communication paper, in the said exam, will be considered.

Other details

The NET score will carry weightage of 60 marks and 20 marks weightage has been kept aside for essential qualification. The interview score will carry a weightage of 15 marks.

Important dates

Registrations will open online on March 18 and the application submission portal will be active April 9. Candidates will have to apply for UGC NET June 2019 exam first and then use the application number/registration number for applying to this job.
