V Ramesh set to be Director (Enterprise) of BSNL

New Delhi: V Ramesh is set to be next Director (Enterprise) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a debt-ridden PSU under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). He has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is currently working as Principal General Manager in the same organisation. The position is currently occupied by BL Varshney (ITS – 1982) since April 29, 2019.

A PESB panel has recommended the name of V Ramesh for the post of Director (Enterprise) of BSNL. He is currently serving as Principal General Manager in the same organisation

Ramesh has been recommended for the post of Director (Enterprise) of BSNL from a list of seven candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. Six candidates, including Ramesh, were from BSNL and one candidate was from Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), a subsidiary of BSNL.
