New Delhi: Wormila Jasmine Keishing (IRPS) is set to be Deputy Secretary in Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. Keishing is an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) service officer of 2011-batch. She is currently serving as Deputy CPO (IT, T&C) in Northern Railways.

Central Vigilance Commission (CVC)

The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is an apex governmental body created to address governmental corruption. The Parliament enacted a law conferring statutory status on the CVC in 2003.
