New Delhi: Anjula Jain (IRS) has been selected for appointment as Director in the Department of Health & Family Welfare under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. She was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. She is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS-IT) officer of the 2003-batch.

"She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Health & Family Welfare," the order further read.
