New Delhi: Govt has approved the proposal for the appointment of Rupjyoti Brahma Karjee (IFS) as the Private Secretary to the Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh in the Ministry of External Affairs. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Rupjyoti Brahma Karjee is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 2011-batch.
