Sanjiv Kumar (IAS) gets additional charge as JS of Department of Food & Public Distribution

Sanjiv Kumar (IAS), who is currently serving as Executive Director (North) of Food Corporation of India, has been given additional charge as Joint Secretary of Department of Food & Public Distribution

New Delhi: Sanjiv Kumar (IAS) has been given additional charge as Joint Secretary of the Department of Food & Public Distribution. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), He has been given the additional charge of the post for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier. With his new assignment, Kumar will replace Edwin K Majhi (IAS).

Sanjiv Kumar is a 1992-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently serving as Executive Director (North) of Food Corporation of India (FCI).
