BEL secures defence orders worth Rs 563 crore

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the receipt of fresh orders worth Rs 563 crore since its last disclosure on June 30.

In a statement released on Friday, BEL said that the newly acquired orders span a wide range of advanced defence and strategic systems. The key components of the order include the supply of National Maritime Domain Awareness systems, Inertial Navigation Systems for guns, Communication Equipment, Active Antenna Array Units, Satellite Communication (Satcom) Interception Systems, Seekers, Target Acquisition Systems, Jammers, spares, and related services.

The order win further strengthens BEL’s role as a key contributor to India’s self-reliance in defence technology and underscores the trust placed in its indigenous capabilities by the armed forces and other strategic agencies.
