Vineet Sharma set to be Director (HR) of Yantra India Limited

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Vineet Sharma for the post of Director (HR) of Yantra India Limited on Monday

New Delhi: Vineet Sharma is set to be next Director (Human Resources) of Yantra India Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Monday.

Sharma is an Indian Ordinance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of 1996-batch.  Presently, he is serving as Executive Director at Ordnance Factory Muradnagar (OFM).

Sharma has been recommended for the post of Director (HR) of Yantra India Limited from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection Panel in its 14th Meeting of 2025 held on March 3. Out of nine candidates, four candidates were from IOFS, three candidates from NTPC Limited and two from SAIL.

As Director (HR) of Yantra India, Sharma will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director. He will be responsible for HR planning and organizing manpower resources, HR polices, performance management, compensation management, secession planning, talent management, training, capability building, employee services, industrial relations, CSR, Security and Legal functions in the organisation.
