Coal India kick starts 'Swachhta Hi Sewa 2024' campaign

The Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign, will run from September 14 to the October 2, 2024

New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL) Chairman PM Prasad administered the "Swachhta Pledge" to the employees to mark the commencement of the Swacchata Hi Sewa 2024 at its corporate headquarters in Kolkata. The Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign will run from 14th of September to the 2nd of October, 2024.

This year’s theme is "Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata", emphasizing behavioural change and building a sustainable waste management ecosystem from source to disposal.

A plethora activities have been planned during the campaign period such as installation of Installation of AI Dustbins Cleanliness drive at significant locations, tourist, pilgrim site Plantation Drive with the theme “Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” Waste to Art Installations, Swachh Food Streets, Nutrition Camp and Health check-up for Safai karamcharis.

CIL's Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan, Director (Business Development) Debasish Nanda, Director (Marketing) Mukesh Chowdhury, Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal and Chief Vigilance Officer Brajesh Kumar Tripathy were present on the occasion.
