IREDA celebrates International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day, a health talk by Dr Anita Malik has been organised for the women employees of IREDA

New Delhi: International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8, every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women's rights. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), organised a programme to mark the Day.

During the celebration, a health talk by Dr Anita Malik (Consultant, Radiation Oncologist) has been organised. IREDA's General Manager (HR & CSR) Dr P Sreenivasan felicitated the speaker and greeted women employees for their exemplary contribution.

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). It was established as a non-banking financial institution in 1987. IREDA engaged in promoting, developing and extending financial assistance for setting up projects relating to new and renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency and conservation with the motto: "Energy for Ever."
