New Delhi: State-run defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of Rs 2,041.98 crores, during the first quarter of FY 2019-20, down marginally from what it recorded in the corresponding period of the previous financial year — Rs 2,077.84 crores.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) in the June quarter of FY 2019-20 stood at Rs 290.39 crore, registering a growth of about 16 percent over the Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs 250.21 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit After Tax (PAT) during the June quarter of FY 2019-20 stood at Rs 204.73 crore, registering a growth of about 14 percent over the Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 179.73 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The order book position of the company as on July 1 stood at Rs 51,715 crores.
