Mukesh Kumar set to be next Director (Finance) of MECON Ltd

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Mukesh Kumar for the post of Director (Finance) of MECON Limited

New Delhi: Mukesh Kumar is set to be the next Director (Finance) of MECON Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Director (Finance) in the Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction Company Ltd. (BBJ).

Kumar has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of MECON Limited from a list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on July 25. All other two candidates, who were on the list were from MECON.

As Director (Finance) of MECON, Kumar will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance division of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to the finance division and implementation of the same.
