ONGC GGM Sanjeev Tokhi set to be Director (Exploration) of ONGC Videsh

Sanjeev Tokhi, who is currently serving as Group General Manager in ONGC, has been recommended for the post of Director (Exploration) of ONGC Videsh by the PESB panel

New Delhi: Sanjeev Tokhi is set to be Director (Exploration) of ONGC Videsh Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ONGC Limited under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). Tokhi has been recommended for the post by a panel of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), the head hunter body for PSUs, on Saturday. He is currently serving as Group General Manager in ONGC Limited. The post of Director (Exploration) in ONGC Videsh is vacant since May 1.

Tokhi has been recommended for the post of Director (Exploration) of ONGC Videsh from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. All the candidates, who appeared for the interview were from ONGC Limited.

As Director (Exploration) of ONGC Videsh, Tokhi will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director (MD). He will advise the Chairman, Managing Director and the Board of Directors on all matters relating to the business and potential investment opportunities in overseas E&P assets. He also will be responsible for all matters relating to the formulation and implementation of exploration and reserves accretion policies and strategies.
