Ratnesh Kumar joins OPaL as its Managing Director

New Delhi: Ratnesh Kumar has joined ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL), a multibillion joint venture company of ONGC, GAIL and GSPC, as its new Managing Director. He has assumed charge of the post with effect from July 2, 2022. Before this, he served as Group General Manager in ONGC Limited. With his new assignment, Kumar has replaced Avinash Verma, who was earlier serving as MD of OPaL.

Ratnesh Kumar is an engineering graduate (mechanical engineering) from BIT Mesra and an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University. He has over three decades of experience with ONGC's on various turnkey and petrochemical projects.

As MD of OPaL, Kumar is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
