The substation was inaugurated by DVC's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Sudipta Acharjee (ITS) in the presence of DVC's Member (Finance) Arup Sarkar along with other senior officials of the corporation. The event drew participation from existing and potential power consumers, including key industrial stakeholders such as Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL).

These modern E-House substations are engineered to deliver improved voltage regulation, reduce power downtime, and ensure consistent electricity supply—factors that are crucial for sustaining industrial operations and meeting the growing power needs of the region.

“This development underscores DVC’s unwavering commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality power to its consumers. The commissioning of the Sindri substation is yet another step towards powering progress and strengthening the region’s energy ecosystem,” said a DVC spokesperson.
