Govt invites proposals to set up NABL-accredited food testing labs under PMKSY

MoFPI has invited online proposals to establish NABL-accredited food testing labs under PMKSY, with applications open until January 20, 2026

New Delhi: The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) on Monday invited proposals from eligible entrepreneurs to set up NABL-accredited food testing laboratories under the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Infrastructure (FSQAI) component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY).

The ministry said it is seeking applications “for establishing Food Testing Laboratories with NABL accreditation under the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Infrastructure (FSQAI) component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY).” It added that applicants must follow the Scheme Guidelines dated November 12, 2025, available on its website.

Online-only submissions, January 20 deadline

MoFPI said submissions will be accepted strictly through the online portal. “Applications must be submitted online through https://www.sampada-mofpi.gov.in/ under the relevant section of ‘PRADHAN MANTRI KISAN SAMPADA YOJANA’. Physical or offline submissions will not be accepted,” the statement said.

Applications must be filed by January 20, 2026, at 17:00 hrs. The ministry said applicants must submit a non-refundable demand draft as per scheme guidelines. The draft must be payable to “Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi,” and a scanned copy must be uploaded with the online form, while the original “must reach the Ministry within one week after the last date of submission.”

Pre-bid meeting on December 2

A pre-bid meeting will be held on December 2, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Room No. 120, Panchsheel Bhawan, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi. The ministry said the link for online submission and the complete application form “will remain available until 20th January 2026, 17:00 hrs.”
