Power Grid organises Analysts Meet in Mumbai

Power Grid organised an analysts meet in Mumbai to engage with industry analysts and share updates on the company’s operational performance and infrastructure network

New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, organised an analysts meet in Mumbai to engage with industry analysts and share updates on the company’s operational performance and infrastructure network.

Power Grid's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra in the presence of Director (Finance) G. Ravisankar, Director (Personnel) Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Operations) Naveen Srivastava and other senior officials of the company interacted with the analysts.

During the meet, team Power Grid highlighted its operational achievements and transmission infrastructure growth.

They informed that as on April 30, 2026, Power Grid has commissioned and is operating 291 substations, more than 1,85,102 circuit kilometres (ckm) of transmission lines and 6,28,516 MVA of transformation capacity across the country.

The company also underlined its focus on technology adoption, automation and digital solutions for efficient grid management. According to Power Grid, the use of advanced technological tools and enhanced automation has enabled it to maintain an average transmission system availability of over 99.78 percent.
