58 pc respondents say strong software capabilities will decide if organisations thrive: Report * Nearly 58 per cent of Indian respondents surveyed agree that strong software capabilities will determine whether their organisations thrive, according to a report by Capgemini Research Institute.

About 66 per cent of Indian respondents believe that software capabilities offer a greater competitive advantage versus 62 per cent, globally.

'As per Indian respondents, 69 per cent of the organisations believe software is critical to the future product/service strategy and roadmap versus 66 per cent globally,' it said.

Further, nearly 58 per cent of the Indian respondents agree that strong software capabilities will determine whether or not their organisations thrive as compared to 54 per cent globally, it added.

***** ADB, Greenway Grameen sign USD 6.5 million loan pact to distribute 1 mn cookstoves * The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Greenway Grameen Infra have signed a USD 6.5 million senior secured loan agreement to produce and distribute 1 million improved cookstoves among rural households in India.

The financing also includes a USD 3.25 million first-loss liquidity reserve from the ADB-administered Climate Innovation and Development Fund (CIDF), an official statement said, adding that the cookstoves will be distributed in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.

***** Naredco expects Rs 1,000 cr revenues for HFCs at 3-day property exhibition * A real estate lobby grouping on Wednesday said it expects an upcoming property exhibition to generate revenues of Rs 1,000 crore for home finance companies.

Naredco Maharashtra President Sandeep Runwal said the grouping is expecting 50,000 walk-ins at the three-day expo, which will start on Friday in Mumbai.
