New Delhi: Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is undertaking a capacity-building drive to increase the efficiency of thousands of Aadhaar operators across the country, said the Ministry of Electronics & IT on Thursday. Further, it added that the exercise will strengthen the ecosystem further by making the operators aware of the latest changes in policies/procedures in the Aadhaar ecosystem and minimise errors at the operator level during enrollment, updates, and authentication processes. Further, it will enhance residents' experiences even more.

UIDAI has already held nearly two dozen training sessions

As per the statement, the UIDAI has already held nearly two dozen training sessions as part of the initiative in a number of states and Union Territories, including North-Eastern States, over the course of the past few months. Operators must have a thorough awareness of procedures, rules, and policies because they work on the ground and are in charge of enrollment, updates, and authentications.

The training sessions have equipped nearly 3,500 operators and master trainers

"The training sessions have equipped nearly 3,500 operators and master trainers with the latest knowledge, and mechanisms of enrolment, update and authentication processes. They can initiate the process of knowledge dissemination and spread the acquired information further as well," said the statement. "Besides, over 100 more such full-day training sessions will be conducted by the UIDAI during the current year across all the States and Union Territories," it added.

"Robust knowledge of the Aadhaar ecosystem and behavioral change by these partners will help in giving a more empathetic and improved experience to residents at enrollment and update centres across the country," it added.
