New Delhi: Tensions alongside the border of India-Pakistan have again started soaring as Pakistan has been seen mobilising its fighter jets in Skardu close to union territory Ladakh. "Three C-130 transport aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force were used on Saturday to ferry equipment to their Skardu airbase opposite the Union Territory of Ladakh. The Indian agencies concerned are keeping a close eye on the movement of Pakistanis along the border areas," sources told news agency Asian News International.
The Indian intelligence agencies along with the Air Force and Army are keeping a close watch on the movement of the Pakistani Air Force.
C-130 is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed Martin that is primarily used for troop, medevac, and cargo transport. The Pakistanis use an older version of this transport aircraft that was given to them by the Americans.
Skardu that is situated close to India's union territory Ladakh is a forward operating base of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan uses it to support its Army operations on the border with India. Sources close to the development said that the equipment moved to the forward operating base could be support equipment for fighter aircraft operations. Soon Pakistan may be seen mobilising their JF-17 fighter planes to the Skardu airfield.
Pakistan is trying to create an uproar over Kashmir since India has abrogated article 370 on August 5, 2019. It has moved towards mobilising fighter planes alongside India border now. This is happening despite Russia, China, Saudi and US have clearly asked Pakistan to refrain from any retaliatory aggression against India.
