Bengaluru, November 2023: The Great Indian Golf Alliance (GIGA), meticulously crafted for industry leaders and business owners, is set to take place on December 9th, 2023, at Prestige Golfshire. This premier event is centered around promoting the vital mission of the Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation, which focuses on raising awareness about cancer, its research, and treatment. Hosted by White Lotus Group, this exclusive, invite-only event seamlessly combines elite sportsmanship with a commitment to a greater cause, bringing together the golfing world's luminaries to support the noble endeavors of the Sri Shankara Foundation.

Shri Shankara Cancer Foundation, the parent body of the Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Bangalore, is expanding its reach with the upcoming Bagchi Sri Shankara Cancer Centre and Research Institute in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This 750-bed facility will offer comprehensive cancer care and embody the Foundation's commitment to making advanced treatment accessible.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, Pavan Kumar, Founder and CEO of White Lotus Group, a bespoke real estate developer based out of Bangalore, and an IIT alumnus, is supporting the GIGA event as the presenting sponsor. Dr. BS Srinath, Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist, Professor, and Head of the Institution of Surgical Oncology at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, views the event as a unique opportunity to co-host and increase awareness about the Foundation's work across the cities of Bhubaneswar and Bangalore. The institution is dedicated to ensuring that no child with a cancer diagnosis is left untreated, regardless of their financial situation. This commitment to providing affordable care to all patients highlights the ethos of the Foundation.

This golf event, an exclusive invite-only affair will see the participation of eminent personalities, players from across India and industry leaders, including the seasoned golfer Sumit Rathod, cricket commentator Charu Sharma, BCCI's Venkatapathi Raju, and D Shiv Kumar from Advent International, among others.
