The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Joshit Ranjan Sikidar for SECI's Director (Finance) post

New Delhi: Joshit Ranjan Sikidar is set to be next Director (Finance) of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a PSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. He has been recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in the same organisation.

Sikidar has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of SECI from a list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on May 2. The other two candidates, who were on the list were each from RITES Limited and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

As Director (Finance) of SECI, Sikidar will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director. He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organization and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation thereof towards the fulfilment of goals and objectives of the company.
