Rajesh Kumar Singh (IRSS) assumes additional charge as CVO of NHPC

Rajesh Kumar Singh (IRSS) has assumed additional charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NHPC Limited

New Delhi: Rajesh Kumar Singh (IRSS) has assumed additional charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NHPC Limited. He is an Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer of 2002-batch.

Singh will hold the additional charge for six months from the date of assuming office, or until the appointment of a regular CVO at NHPC, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Singh is currently serving as CVO of Power Finance Corporation (PFC). He holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from IIT Roorkee and an M.Tech in Communication Systems from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He has also completed a Senior Leadership Programme in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

He has over 24 years of experience in Indian Railways and has held several key positions, including Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), NER, Banaras Division, and Chief Materials Manager at Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli.

At Modern Coach Factory, Singh was responsible for overseeing procurement activities. His professional experience spans procurement, vigilance, information technology and material management, besides managing cross-functional teams.

According to the company, his multidisciplinary experience includes assignments focused on operational integrity, transparency and public service management.
