Indian Railways recruitment 2019: Indian Railways (diesel locomotive works) has invited online applications from sportspersons for filling up the Group 'C' posts under the sports quota for the year 2019. Eligible and interested candidates can apply before September 23.

Age limit

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 25 years

Pay scale:  Rs 29,200 – 93,300

Examination fees:

General/OBC: 500

SC/ST: 250

(A crossed bank draft of any scheduled bank in favour of "The Principal Financial Advisor," DLW/Varanasi, payable at Varanasi should be sent separately. This amount will be refunded to those applicants who actually appear in the trial.

Educational qualification

10th, 12th and ITI passed candidates can apply. Candidates having the technical qualification of ITI will be given relaxation in the training period after joining. Graduates are also eligible.

Sports qualification: The minimum norms of recruitment under the sports quota shall be applicable in addition to the qualifying performance/ position.
