New Delhi: Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Limited has invited job applications for the post of Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Limited. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before July 25.

Director (Project Management) is one of the two functional Directors of the company who functions directly under the administrative control of the chairman and Managing Director. He/She is responsible for planning, tendering, contract management, budgeting, coordination, order booking, etc. of all types of civil, mechanical, PMC jobs, deposit works and turnkey jobs as stated above, promoting indigenisation under the Atma Nirbhar Scheme of the government.

Pay scale: Rs 1,20,000 – Rs 2,80,000 (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years and the age of superannuation is 60 years

The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as of the date of the vacancy.

Employment status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings: –

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 1,000 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 1,000 crore or more.

Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Educational Qualifications

The applicant should be an engineering graduate or equivalent in civil, structural or mechanical engineering with good academic record from a recognised university or institution.

Applicants with MBA or post-graduate diploma in Management will have an added advantage.

Work Experience

The applicant should possess cumulative experience or exposure for at least five years during the last 10 years in multi-disciplinary engineering or construction or consultancy services in an organisation of repute.

Experience in civil construction or mechanical erection or turnkey projects is preferable.

Note (i) Applicants from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Director in Government of India or carrying an equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.

(ii) Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Brigadier in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force on the date of application.

Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises or Private Sector should be working at Board level position or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level on the date of application.

Duration of the appointment

The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
