Iftakhar Ahmed Chowdhry (IRS) appointed Deputy Secretary in Department of Health Research

New Delhi: Iftakhar Ahmed Chowdhry, IRS (C&IT) of the 2013 batch, has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health Research, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Chowdhry was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue. His appointment will be for four years from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The competent authority has directed that he be relieved of his current duties immediately to take up his new assignment in the Department of Health Research.
