EPIL Recruitment 2022: Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPIL), a PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, has invited job applications for the engagement of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before January 10, 2023. The CMD post in EPIL will fall vacant on October 1, 2023. DS Rana is the present CMD of EPIL.
The CMD is the Chief Executive of the company and is accountable to its Board of Directors and Government/ Shareholders. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – Rs 3,20,000 (IDA)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years and the age of superannuation is 60 years
The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as of the date of the vacancy.
The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)
The applicant should be Engineering Graduate or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or Post Graduate or Graduate with MBA or GDIM from a leading institute.
Applicants should possess cumulative experience or exposure for at least five years during the last 10 years in Finance or Business Development or Production or Operations or Marketing in large organisation of repute.
Exposure in construction or industrial development or technical or consultancy service will have added advantage.
The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
