MRVC Recruitment 2023: Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) has released a job notification for the engagement of Director (Technical); Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before March 21. The post will fall vacant on December 1. Currently, Ravi Agarwal is serving as Director (Technical) of MRVC.
Director (Technical) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He/She assists the CMD and is responsible for project management functions of the company, preparation of detailed project reports, planning and designing, construction and commissioning of the projects, research and development activities, etc.
Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – Rs 3,40,000 (IDA)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years and the age of superannuation is 60 years
The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as of the date of the vacancy.
The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-
(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 1500 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in company where the annual turnover is *Rs 1500 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)
The applicant should be an Engineering graduate from a recognised university or institute with good academic record.
Applicants holding an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management will have added advantage.
The applicant should have technical experience or exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years at a senior level of management in the implementation of projects or construction or technical consultancy services. Experience in the Railway sector will have added advantages.
