New Delhi: Kapil Patidar (IES) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance. He was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Patidar has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further order, whichever is earlier. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of School Education & Literacy," the order further added.

Profile of Kapil Patidar (IES)

Patidar is an Indian Economics Service (IES) officer of 2011-batch. He is currently serving as Deputy Director in the Ministry of Finance. Patidar has done his graduation in commerce (B. Com) and post-graduation (MA in Economics) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He has also done M Phill (Economics) from JNU, New Delhi. In addition to this, he also completed a professional degree in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University. Prior to joining the current position, he was serving as Assistant Director in the Department of Economics Affairs.
