NTPC Recruitment 2020: NTPC Limited is looking for 250 experienced Engineers in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation disciplines for Shift Operational of Thermal Power Plant and 25 Experienced Assistant Chemists for Stations/Projects. Eligible candidates can apply for the job through NTPC's official website. The last date for online application is July 31.

Pay scale: Rs 40,000/- 1,40,000/-
Application fee: Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300/-.
The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.
Upper Age limit: 30 years
Qualifications for Engineering post: Candidates applying for Engineering (E2 grade) should have Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks from recognised the university of the institute (Passing marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply in the respective discipline:
Experience for Engineering post
Minimum of three years post qualification executive experience (excluding training period) in Operation/ Maintenance / Erection /Construction /Engineering in main Plant Thermal or main Plant Gas Power Plant. Out of 3 years, the candidates must have worked at least 2 years in power plant sites.
Qualifications for Assistant Chemist (E-1 grade): Candidates applying for Assistant Chemist should be M Sc in Chemistry from recognised University or Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate. SC/ST and PwBD candidates with passing marks are eligible to apply for the post.
Experience for Assistant Chemist
Minimum three years post qualification experience in Executive/ Supervisory cadre (excluding training period) in Water Treatment Plant process and water analysis (RO plant, DM plant, pre-treatment plant, etc.) boiler water chemistry of cooling water treatment and analysis of chemical parameters), and knowledge of analytical instruments (like spectrophotometer, Ion chromatography, Gas chromatography), Coal sampling and analysis, Oil analysis, should have knowledge of environmental parameter testing, monitoring and management. Candidates with experience in the power plant will be given added advantage.
Candidates should have sound health, before joining, candidates will have to undergo a medical examination by the NTPC Medical board and the decision of the board will be final and binding. No relaxation in health standards is allowed.
