PFC Recruitment 2020: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, has invited job applications for the post of Director (Projects). Eligible candidates can apply for the job before October 5. The post is vacant since June 1.

Director (Projects) is a member of board of directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He/She is responsible for developing and enforcing sound strategy for effective marketing of products to carry out the lending operations, encompassing techno-commercial appraisal of projects identified and ensuring sound and effective follow-up mechanism to the timely implementation of projects financed thus ensuring an adequate return on investment.

Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000-3,40,000  (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years

Employment status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-
(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 5,000 crore or more;
(d) Private sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 5,000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualifications 

The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with the good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants holding an MBA or Postgraduate diploma in project management will have added advantage.

Experience

The applicant should possess adequate technical/operational/project management experience at a senior level in an organization, out of which at least five years during the last ten years should have been in the infrastructure finance.

Experience in the power sector is desirable.
