Power Grid is looking to hire 137 Field Engineer & Field Supervisors

Power Grid Recruitment 2021: Maharatna Power PSU, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has posted a job vacancy for the recruitment of 137 candidates as Field Engineers & Field Supervisors. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before.

“For its TBCB (Tariff Based Competitive Bidding) Project works under its various regions, POWERGRID invites applications from young, dynamic and experienced professionals,” the power PSU said in its official notification.

“The engagement shall be purely on temporary and contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till completion of projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on requirement and status of projects,” the notification added.

Upper age limit: 29 years as on August 27, 2021

Essential Qualification

Full-time B.E or B Tech or B Sc (Engg.) or BE (Power Engg.) in the respective fields or equivalent from recognised university or institute with minimum 55 percent marks for General or OBC (NCL) or EWS and pass marks for SC or ST or PwBD candidates.

Pay scale

Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @35 % of basic pay. On successful completion of every year of engagement, the contract personnel will be eligible for annual increment at the rate of 3 percent during subsequent year of engagement. The increment will be given from the first day of the month subsequent to the month in which you complete the year.

Selection will involve interviews only, of the eligible and shortlisted candidates. However, the Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards or criteria and or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.
