Meera Mohanty (IAS) appointed as Govt Nominee Director on MIDHANI board

New Delhi: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) has appointed Meera Mohanty (IAS) as Government Nominee Director on its Board with effect from September 17.

Mohanty is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre from the 2005 batch and is currently serving as Joint Secretary (Personnel & Coordination) in the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.

Mohanty replaces Prakash Rajpurohit, whose tenure as Government Nominee Director has ceased with effect from the same date. Prior to her present assignment, she served as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Mohanty is also a Government Nominee Director on the Board of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
