Indian Oil's Niranjan Bhalerao going to be next Director (Finance) of GRSE

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Niranjan Bhalerao for the post of Director (Finance) of GRSE on Saturday

New Delhi: Niranjan Bhalerao is set to be next Director (Finance) of Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Saturday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Finance) Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

Bhalerao has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of GRSE from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its 58th selection meeting held on July 5. Out of seven candidates, two candidates were from Indian Oil, two from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) and one each from NTPC Limited, BCPL, MTNL and NMDC Limited.

As Director (Finance) of GRSE, Bhalerao will be a member of the board of Directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulation polices related to finance and accounts as well as their implementation.
