New Delhi: NHPC Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, has been conferred with ‘Honorary Award’ in recognition of its Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Renewable Energy in Uttar Pradesh. The award was presented to NHPC during State Leadership Meet at Lucknow (UP) on Friday.
NHPC's Director (Projects) Sanjay Kumar Singh received the award on behalf of NHPC. Singh also delivered a keynote address wherein he gave a deep insight into NHPC’s crucial role in the development of green energy and the initiatives being undertaken by NHPC towards achieving the same. During the Meet CEO, BSUL and other senior officials of NHPC and BSUL were also present.
