Power Grid celebrates 12th International Day of Yoga

As part of Yoga Day celebration, a programme was organised in accordance with the theme of International Day of Yoga 2026, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing"

New Delhi/Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga across its offices and establishments nationwide. At corporate centre, Gurugram, Power Grid's Chairman & Managing Director Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, Director (Finance) G. Ravisankar, and Director (Personnel) Dr. Yatindra Diwedi led the yoga session and encouraged people to embrace yoga as an integral part of their daily lives.

The event witnessed active participation from employees and their families, reflecting Power Grid’s commitment towards fostering a culture of employee well-being, inclusivity and sustainable workplace practices. The celebration also underscored the organisation's continued efforts to promote a healthy, positive and productive work environment.

Participants performed various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises under the guidance of Yoga experts.
