Dr Swadhinta Krishna appointed on the Board of MMTC

New Delhi: Dr Swadhinta Krishna has assumed charge of Non-official (Independent) Director on the Board of MMTC Limited, a Miniratna PSU under the administrative control of the under the Department of Commerce, on January 24. The information has been given by the MMTC in a regularity filing to the stock exchanges on Monday. Presently Swadhinta Krishna is working as chairperson in Babu Ayodhya Prasad Pratisthan (Trust), a voluntary research organisation working for the rural economic upliftment of SC/ST farmers and in general public in Bundelkhand region.

Dr Swadhinta Krishna has done her PhD in Botany and has a specialisation in Teaching and Science dissemination for rural development with special reference to income generation in rural sector through medicinal and aromatic herbs.
