Rourkela: Steel Authority of India Limited's (SAIL) Director (Commercial) Sona Mondal visited Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on Monday. She held a meeting with the senior officers of the central marketing organisation (CMO) at the branch sales office, Rourkela. On the occasion, CMO's (Kolkata) Executive Director G Ghosh and many senior officers of the branch sales office and central marketing organisation were present. She also visited the stockyard of CMO and took stock of the products and facilities.

During her visit to RSP, Mondal interacted with the senior officers of RSP and CMO in a meeting held at the CEO's conference hall. On this occasion RSP's CEO Dipak Chattaraj, along with Executives Director and many other senior officials of the plant, were present. RSP's General Manager (PPC) Sunita Singh made a presentation on the products of RSP.

In the afternoon, Mondal also addressed the representatives of various trade bodies comprising members of Rourkela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), District Small Scale Industries Association (DSSIA), Orissa Young Entrepreneurs Association (OYEA) and Orissa Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (OASME).
