Who are frontrunners for IOC’s Director (Planning and Business Development) post?

Sources have said that the last lap of the race for IOC's Director (Planning and Business Development) is going to be a neck-to-neck contest between all the shortlisted candidates

New Delhi: As the interview round for the selection of Director (Planning and Business Development) of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) draws closer, sources have said that the last lap of the race is going to be a neck-to-neck contest between all the shortlisted candidates as seven out of eight people have a strong background of being involved in business development. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has shortlisted eight candidates for the post of IOC's Director (Planning and Business Development), a document accessed by PSU Watch showed.

According to the document, the PESB has shortlisted six Executive Directors from within Indian Oil for the post of Director (Planning & Business Development). The list includes Subimal Mondal, Hridesh Baindail, Shyam Bohra, Sanjeev Gupta, Sujoy Choudhury and Sandeep Jain. In addition, the PESB has also shortlisted two Executive Directors from GAIL (India) Ltd — Sanjay Kumar and Rajeev Kumar Singhal. The interview for the position is slated to take place on October 29.
