Union Minister of Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy, praised the scheme’s transformative impact and announced a new vision— “One State, One Hospital” — to expand access to bone marrow transplant services nationwide. He highlighted the initiative’s reach from four to 17 partner hospitals and emphasized its alignment with national healthcare goals through digital monitoring and rural outreach.

The Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey, termed the initiative a model of compassion-driven governance, citing financial support of up to Rs 10 lakh per child and strong public-private collaboration. Senior officials from the Ministry of Coal and Health Ministry, partner hospitals, and NGO representatives also participated.

CIL Chairman PM Prasad reaffirmed the company’s commitment to impactful CSR, while 15 thalassemia survivor children and leading hospitals were felicitated for their contributions.

The TBSY continues to exemplify how corporate social responsibility can drive inclusive and sustainable healthcare outcomes across India.
