Ruchir Agrawal set to be next Director (Finance) of SJVN

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Ruchir Agrawal for the post of Director (Finance) of SJVN Limited

New Delhi: Ruchir Agrawal is set to be next Director (Finance) of SJVN Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Power. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Finance) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) R&D Centre, Faridabad.

Agrawal has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of SJVN Limited from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection Panel in its selection meeting held on October 18. Out of 11 candidates, two candidates were from SJVN and one each from Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, NTPC Limited, THDC (India) Limited, Meja Urja Nigam Pvt Limited, NBCC (India) Limited, Indian Oil, MRPL and MSEDCL.

As Director (Finance) of Indian Oil, Agrawal will be a member of the Board of Director and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and is responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
