For food analyst: Candidates should have Master's degree in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry, Food Technology or equivalent degree from any recognised college or university.

For assistant public analyst and senior analyst: Bachelor degree in science with chemistry as a subject and three years of work experience.

For assistant chemical analyst: Master's degree in chemistry and one year experience.

For junior analyst: Bachelor's degree in science with chemistry as a subject and one year experience.

For microbiologist: Master Degree in Microbiology.
